Bandigon Storyteller Ambassador Program Terms & Conditions

Welcome to the Bandigon Storyteller Ambassador Program! We created this program for our community of families who love their Bandigon books and want to share that joy with others. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern participation in the Storyteller Ambassador Program ("Program"). By accepting your ambassador code, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Program Eligibility

• Who Can Join: This Program is exclusively for parents and families who have purchased a physical Bandigon book. We do not accept general or commercial coupon affiliates.
• Public Profile Required: To participate, you must maintain a public profile on Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook, and tag us as a collaborator on any post featuring your code (@bandigonbooks on Instagram and TikTok, @bandigon on Facebook).
• Refunded Sales: If a purchase made using your code is returned or refunded, the corresponding store credit earned from that sale will be voided.
• Acceptance: By accepting your ambassador code, you agree to these Terms.

2. The Offer

• Customer Discount: Each ambassador code gives new, first-time customers 15% off their first Bandigon book purchase.
• Ambassador Reward: In return, the ambassador who shared the code earns 10% store credit (see Section 6) on the base product price of that sale.

3. Personal Sharing Only

• Intended Use: Your unique code is designed for personal sharing on your own social media channels, and with your friends, family, and local or school communities.
• Coupon Aggregator Sites: Posting your code on public coupon aggregator websites such as Honey, OzBargain, or RetailMeNot is strictly prohibited. If we detect your code on these sites, we reserve the right to deactivate it immediately and forfeit any accrued store credit.

4. No Self-Referrals

• Own Code Restriction: You cannot use your own ambassador code to purchase your own books.

5. Code Validity

• 12-Month Term: Your ambassador code is active for 12 months from the date of issue.
• Renewal: We may extend or renew codes at our discretion for active ambassadors who are genuinely sharing and engaging with the Program.

6. Store Credit Rules

• Calculation: The 10% store credit is calculated on the book's base product price, excluding shipping costs, taxes, and any payment processing fees.
• Redemption Window: Each instalment of store credit is valid for redemption within 12 months from the date it is earned (i.e. the date of the qualifying sale). This is a separate 12-month period from your code's own validity described in Section 5.
• How to Redeem: Store credit cannot be exchanged for cash, refunded, or transferred to another account. It must be applied toward a future purchase at Bandigon. To redeem your store credit, simply email us at hello@bandigon.com and we'll apply it to your next order.
• No Guaranteed Value: Store credit has no cash value and is not redeemable for cash under any circumstances, including if Bandigon ceases trading. This does not affect any statutory rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

7. Content and Brand Representation

• Our Expectation: We trust our ambassadors to represent Bandigon honestly and with care. We ask that all content shared as part of the Program reflects our values of creativity, family, and storytelling.
• Removal from the Program: Bandigon reserves the right to remove anyone from the Program, at its discretion, including (but not limited to) situations where content is inconsistent with our brand values, is harmful, offensive, or misleading, or where these Terms have otherwise not been followed.

8. Content Usage Rights

• Organic Sharing: By participating and tagging us (@bandigonbooks on Instagram and TikTok, @bandigon on Facebook), you grant Bandigon a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to repost or share your content on our official social channels, website, and newsletters. We will always credit your social media handle.
• Paid Advertising: If we would like to use your content in a paid advertisement on Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok, we will always contact you first to obtain your explicit permission and confirm usage rights before running anything. We will never use your content in paid ads without asking.

9. Disclosure Requirements

• Incentivised Content: Because you earn store credit when someone uses your code, your posts are considered incentivised content under Australian law. You are required to include #ad or #collab clearly in your caption whenever you share your code.
• Your Responsibility: This keeps everything transparent for your audience and ensures compliance with ACCC guidelines. You are responsible for your own compliance with applicable advertising disclosure obligations when sharing your code.

10. Program Changes

• Our Discretion: Bandigon reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Storyteller Ambassador Program at any time.
• Notice: We will provide reasonable notice of any significant changes to active ambassadors.

11. Liability

• Limitation: To the extent permitted by law, Bandigon is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your participation in the Program.
• Consumer Guarantees: Nothing in these Terms limits any guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
